Our Staff

Kaela Lindquist (she/her) currently serves as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution (SACR) at UNC Charlotte. Her responsibilities include overseeing the student conduct and academic integrity processes, policy development, and supervision of the SACR team. Kaela has worked professionally in Higher Education for over a decade in a number of roles related to student conduct and housing. Kaela earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, and is currently working on a Doctorate in Education in Adult and Community College Education at North Carolina State University.

Amanda began serving as the Associate Director of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution in June 2023. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Amanda got her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Anthropology and Leadership Studies at the University of Iowa, and her Master’s degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education Administration at Iowa State University. Prior to UNC Charlotte, Amanda spent seven years working in Fraternity & Sorority Life, most recently as the Associate Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Northwestern University. She has a lot of experience with leadership development, organizational/individual accountability, risk management, and harm reduction. She is passionate about building community and helping students maximize their growth during their college experience. In her spare time, she volunteers for a variety of higher education associations and organizations. She also loves to run, travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with friends and loved ones.

Collin began serving as the Assistant Director of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution in October 2021. A native of Purcellville, Virginia, he graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Health and Environmental Sciences and a M.Ed. in College Student Personnel Administration. Prior to UNC Charlotte, Collin was at Western Carolina University and served as the Assistant Director of the Department of Student Community Ethics. Collin’s primary role is to educate the campus community on student behavioral incidents while holding students accountable for their decision-making through critical, educational conversations and experiences. Collin is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Adult Education & Community College Leadership at NC State. In his spare time, he loves spending time hiking, camping, and spending time with loved ones.

Kiley (she/her) assumed the Assistant Director of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution role in October 2023. A homegrown Midwesterner, Kiley was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, then moved to Fort Worth, Texas, for her undergraduate studies. She attended Texas Christian University (TCU) and graduated with a B.S. in Youth Advocacy and Educational Studies with minors in Mathematics and Child Development. After graduation, Kiley relocated to Evanston, Illinois, where she earned her M.S. in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University. Preceding UNC Charlotte, Kiley was a student employee for TCU’s Dean of Students Office, Admissions Office, and University Recreation Center. During graduate school, she was the graduate assistant for Illinois Institute of Technology’s Student Conduct Office and Northwestern University’s Fraternity and Sorority Life Office. Kiley’s experiences lie within student accountability and behavioral concerns, social justice and equity, research assessment, leadership development, and crisis management. She is passionate about instilling integrity through educational conversations and intentional guidance. In her personal time, Kiley enjoys playing fetch with her goldendoodle, trying new restaurants, and exploring surrounding neighborhoods.

Madison Sledge earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from UNC Charlotte in 2017. Prior to working at UNC Charlotte, Madison spent two years at North Carolina State University’s McKimmon Conference & Training Center where she served as the Office Manager of the Client Relations Department. Madison began serving as the Administrative Assistant for the office of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution in September of 2021.

Megan serves as the Graduate Assistant of Student Accountability and Conflict Resolution while studying for her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her academic background and professional interests include conflict transformation, restorative practices, social problem-solving, and wise reasoning. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Global Justice Studies from James Madison University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University, where she worked as the Graduate Assistant for the Center of Global Programs & Studies. Outside of work, Megan enjoys art, reading, watering her plants and playing with her dogs.

Zak began his role as the Program Director for Academic Integrity in May 2024. A North Carolina native, he grew up in Greensboro and earned bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Political Science from Appalachian State University. Zak is a two-time alumnus of UNC Charlotte, holding master’s degrees in Ethics and Applied Philosophy as well as Educational Leadership. Before stepping into his current role, Zak held various positions within UNC Charlotte’s Residence Life team, most recently serving as Assistant Director for Student Accountability and Support. He is passionate about integrating discussions on academic integrity with broader conversations about integrity and ethics. In his spare time, Zak enjoys reading, playing music with friends, baking, and playing board games.
