So that members of the university community can make informed decisions about involvement opportunities, Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution, in partnership with Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Involvement, and University Recreation, provides information regarding the prior conduct records of student organizations at the University. Please note this information does not include records that are no longer retained by the University. Additional information about the conduct procedures and organizational educational outcomes can be found in the Code of Student Responsibility.

The program must be a powerpoint of 15-20min with at least 10 slides. The powerpoint must be approved prior to the training being presented to the student organization. This will be presented to the organization as a training presentation at a meeting. The organization must have 80% attendance for this training. Please notify Nathan Roy when and where the organization is meeting so he may observe the training. A representative of the organization must be present for the entire duration of the program. As proof of compliance, the organization must submit a copy of advertisement, a list of attendees to the program and answers to the reflection questionnaire (attached at the end of the formal outcome letter sent via email) to Nathan Roy by April 24, 2015. An option for virtual attendance must be provided to all brothers and new members, and no brother or new member shall be penalized if they choose to attend meetings or education virtually.     • After social privileges have been reinstated, and until the end of Deferred Registration Suspension period, for every social event the Chapter hosts, the Chapter must submit a risk management plan for review to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life no later than 3 business days prior to the event.   • Loss of Social Privileges effective April 5, 2021, through December 15, 2021. During this period, the organization may not sponsor any activity, party, or function that is social in nature.     • Beginning September 1, 2021, Kappa Sigma can petition in writing to the Director of Student Conduct & Academic Integrity or designee to have social privileges reinstated. In order for the request to be considered, Kappa Sigma must:
      • Revise the Chapter Risk Management Policy and Procedures document to be approved by Kappa Sigma’s Local Chapter Advisor, and an Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life designee with specific focus on maintaining COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines set forth by UNC Charlotte and North Carolina State mandates.
